The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is cheap, often leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of moving.

But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have actually pressed up the rate of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has actually entered into sharp focus.
