Large amounts of unlicensed medications have actually been seized by Department of Health officials during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A guy was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications through the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution .
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: „It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
„These kinds of items being sold, normally online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
„You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this might have on your health.”
